Indirect Bonding
Indirect Bonding
One of the ways we deliver great orthodontic care is by utilizing a process called indirect bonding. Indirect bonding describes the process where we position brackets on a model of a patient's teeth and then transfer the brackets with their precise position to the patient's mouth. We love this process for a few reasons! The appointment where we place braces is typically a long appointment, but with this process it is much quicker and more comfortable for the patient. In addition, treatment time is often shorter because the brackets are more precisely positioned. We take an scan of the patient’s teeth at their initial visit and a 3D printer to generate the materials used in this process. High tech!
